Pathway Squad Update

With the submission date of 18th September getting close we are able to provide the following updates:

The provisional dates for this years squad at Stirling University are:

12th and 13th October

7th and 8th Dec (could be full weekend or a single day on the sat or sun)

18th Jan

14th and 15th March (could be full weekend or a single day on the sat or sun)

These dates are provisional and will be finalised as soon as possible but may also be subject to change depending on events calendars both within archery and the university fixture schedule. Costs will be similar to last year (£200 per head). Content of the sessions will be based on our 'What it takes to win' model which can be viewed here.

The performance group have also noted that there are limited opportunities to shoot some of the rounds required for pathway squad selection.

Specifically:

Cadet Recurve 60m round

Cub Recurve 50m round

Barebow 50m round

We want to ensure that no one misses out due to lack of opportunity to shoot the appropriate scores.

If anyone feels they haven’t had enough opportunity to shoot the rounds listed can they contact pathway manager Alan Martin (alan.martin@scottisharchery.org.uk) and we will work with you to find a solution.

Criteria for pathway squad can be found here. To submit evidence and apply to be on the programme please complete the form here.
