Scottish Archery is delighted to announce that Nominations are now open for the 2016 Annual Awards.
We wish to recognise the great [but often unrecognised] work that Coaches, Officials and undertake in archery clubs across Scotland.
As in 2015, for the Senior Volunteer category we are including volunteers who ‘parenting volunteer’ working in a club with Junior members or a Junior Club, but who may not necessarily be affiliated to Scottish Archery
For 2016, in recognition of the great contribution that Shelly Phillip made to disability archery in Scotland until her untimely death a few months ago, we are introducing the Shelly Phillip Disability Achievement Award
The Awards themselves will be presented at the 2016 Scottish Archery AGM in late November.
These Awards are a great opportunity to have your club coaches and volunteers gain real recognition from their peers for the work and dedication that they show in growing and developing archery across Scotland.
Nominating a coach or volunteer could not be easier – simply tick the category for which the nomination is being submitted, complete the details on the Nomination Form (link below) especially the ‘supporting statement’ section and then submit by e-mail or paper mail.
Completed nomination forms to be returned no later than Saturday 29th October 2016
