The UK Government has recently launched a £150m Community Ownership Fund, to support communities to take on the running of local facilities that have been closed or are at risk of shutting down. This may be an opportunity for ambitious sports clubs to take on the running of their own facility.
The GB strand is designed to provide athletes that have the desire and commitment to progress to GB teams with an opportunity to further develop themselves.
