Updated Return to Sport Guidance

Following on from the First Ministers announcement early in the week, we are pleased to have our updated guidance available after consultation and approval from sportscotland and the Scottish Government.

The expectation is that the majority of the country will move to Level 2 on the 17th May, with the possible exception of Moray remaining in Level 3. Some of our island communities are also moving to Level 1 on the 17th May. Please ensure that you are following the relevant guidance for your club.

The changes to the guidance document have been highlighted in red and include:

  • Number of households on a target
  • Maximum number of people on the range
  • Update to outdoor competitions (please also see the recent press release from the TO's Group here)

The target spacing remains at 4m just now, if we see an update in the rules of shooting we will look to update our guidance accordingly whilst still complying with the guidelines for sport in Scotland.

The updated guidance document can be viewed here
