Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Archery Championships -
Round Up

28 Aug 2023

By Graeme Doig

On Sunday 27th August, Perth & Kinross Disability Sport (PKDS) welcomed archers from across Scotland to the Gannochy Sports Pavilion in Perth which proved to be a fantastic day at the PKDS Archery Championships.  The competition was organised by PKDS, Perth Archery Club, Scottish Disability Sport and Scottish Archery.

It was brilliant to see so many top class archers compete alongside archers of all abilities with some just starting their journey in the sport.

Thanks to all the competitors, family and friends who came along to cheer on our archers and to Allan Winter and his wonderful team at Perth Archery club for their warm welcome and looking after us all throughout the day.  Also a thank you to Murray Elliot and Max Muraskins for also supporting as part of the volunteer team.  It was very much appreciated the expertise and knowledge from the full team as well as being able to ensure the sun and dry weather was present for the event!
