Further Update to Phase 3 Guidance

Thank you for your patience over the weekend as we worked towards updating and having our guidance approved.

We continue to work alongside other sports and sportscotland to ensure a safe return to sport.

We hope this latest update allows clubs a bit more flexibility whilst keeping member safety at the forefront. Clubs should ensure they have read the document and shared it with their members so they know what to expect when booking a slot on the range.

The changes are all highlighted in red to help those clubs that are already open to find them, a few of the changes included are:

  • Two members from different households may now share a boss
  • Social distancing is relaxed when on the shooting line
  • Coaches may operate within the 2m boundary to aid learning or safety
  • Specific Covid Officer training is now available through sportscotland and can be accessed here

The latest guidance document is available here and an updated sample range diagram can be viewed here

This guidance is specific to outdoor only, we will provide an update on indoor over the next few weeks.
