Cameron Radigan is the 2024 European Para Champion

28 May 2024

Great Britain returns from the European Para Championships with five medals, including a title win for Cameron Radigan.

Scotland’s Cameron Radigan became the recurve men’s open European Para Champion, a career first for the Scottish archer. In his finals match against Slovakia’s David Ivan, both of them brought their A game. With a 26 end to finish, Cameron took the match from four all to a 6-4 win.

Scot and Team GB teammate Nathan Macqueen partnered Phoebe Paterson Pine in the compound open mixed category. The second ranked Brits faced the fourth ranked duo from Italy. Phoebe and Nathan gained an ample head start from the first end, and they were able to maintain their lead until the end of the match to win 147-132.
