Scottish Archery is a membership association of archery clubs within Scotland. We work together to develop archery and make it an accessible and enjoyable sport with opportunities for everyone to reach their individual potential whether as a competitor or in a volunteer role.
We receive support and funding from sportscotland and we are also associated to the Scottish Sports Association and work with other Scottish Bodies to help further the sport in Scotland. We are a Home Nation within the UK governing body, Archery GB.

sportscotland is the national agency for sport in Scotland and plays a leading role in driving forward the Scottish Strategy for Sport. It provides support, advice and funding to sports governing bodies to help them lead and develop their sports.

Archery GB (AGB) is the governing body for archery in the UK. It is affiliated to the World Archery Federation (WA).
The Archery GB board has from eight to twelve member elected volunteer directors and at least three volunteer independent directors from outside the sport.
There are also a number of volunteer committees at operational level that oversee work on Rules & Regulations, Coaching, Judging and UK Tournaments. These are support by a workforce development team.
The Membership Services Office provide support for UK and WRS competitions, award badge distribution and keeping records and provides support to the operation committees with coach renewal and judge registration.
Archery GB has a performance department that trains, prepares and select teams to to shoot for Team GB in international competitions at cadet, junior and senior level, World Cups, World Championships the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games. It is supported in this by UK Sport
We are working with Scottish Disability Sport to increase participation opportunities for those with a disability.
We are working with Scottish Student Sport (SSS) to aid the development of student archery in Scotland.
The SSA is the independent and collective voice for Scottish Governing Bodies (SGBs) of sport; we exist to represent and support SGBs.
The World Archery Federation (WA) is the world governing body for the sport of archery. We are affiliated to it through Archery GB.
All members are expected to comply with anti doping rules, no matter what level you are participating at.
