Scottish Archery, has an immediate vacancy for a Club Development Officer.
Scottish Archery has been successful in obtaining increased funding from sportscotland for this position. The prime purpose of the position is to help clubs to grow their membership and to develop soft archery in local authorities across the country. The role will include developing an Archery Development Plan in line with our strategic plan and then working to implement that plan. It will also involve supporting identified clubs with club development and developing sustainable activity between clubs and the local authorities they operate in.
The role requires an experienced officer with both project management and relationship development experience. You should have an understanding of clubs, local authorities and the organisation of activities for hard to reach groups. Experience in developing strategic partnerships and plans are essential for this role. Whilst sport development or youth work experience isn’t essential it would be an advantage.
The role will require weekly evening and weekend work to engage with clubs.
The position is offered initially until 31st March 2019. The success of the post and the availability of additional funding will determine its extension thereafter.
Full particulars are available below.
Closing date for applications is 19th June 2017, with interviews scheduled for week beginning of July (this may be subject to change).
