Through partnership working with Badminton Scotland we are able to offer any interested Archery clubs a place on the volunteer management course. The course content is generic and can be applied to any sport.
Volunteer Management for Clubs
This workshop will focus on volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition through a 3 hour workshop. There will also be a presentation from one of our adult clubs - Glenearn Badminton Club - on recruiting new members and creating a welcoming environment. There will still be learning that can take place across junior and senior clubs, as with the first workshop, so this workshop is aimed at all clubs regardless of membership. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Date: Saturday 4th February 2016
Timing: 10.00am – 2.00pm
Venue: North Inch Community Campus, Central Music Room, Gowans Terrace Perth PH1 3BF
Who should attend
Workshops will be open to club leaders and representatives from affiliated clubs all over the country.
This is a fantastic opportunity for badminton club representatives to get together to share ideas, learn from other clubs and use these tools to develop and grow badminton in their club.
This specific workshop is aimed at sports club representatives who may have a role in the recruitment, support & development and recognition & reward of club volunteers. Remember – in order to grow your club’s membership and build capacity, you will need to have a strong base of volunteers.
What will I learn?
This workshop covers key areas that are required to build a strong network of volunteers within your club, specifically committee members, as well as the abundance of helpers who sometimes do the small things that make the big difference. It will give you the opportunity to share your own good practice with others and pick up new ideas.
Please can you complete the form below if you are able to attend.
An email will be sent to attendees as soon as possible to confirm the venue.
