The Scottish Field Champs, hosted by Argyll Field Archers was held at the end of April. It was a stunning course, in beautiful weather conditions.
The winners of the Scottish Championship were as follows;
Stuart Barby won the Gent's Recurve for the 5th year in a row. Migle Petruskeviciute won the Ladies Recurve for the third year. Hope Greenwood retained the trophy for the Ladies Compound, as did Philip Tucknott, who is the first Scottish archer to shoot over 400 on an unmarked round. Alison Clark won the Lady's Barebow category with Stephen Havranek won the Gent's. Lesley Brown and John Tait took the titles in the Traditional bow divisions.
It was a fantastic competition, which will be again held by Argyll Field Archers next year, and is an open event so archers from across the UK are invited to come and compete.
