Passing of Shelly Phillip

It is with a great deal of sadness that we have been advised of the untimely death of Shelly Phillip.

Shelly had been involved in archery in Scotland for many years developing and supporting archery at many levels. In addition to helping to create Kingdom of Fife Fletchers, Shelly worked tirelessly with other clubs such as Edinburgh City Bowmen and St Andrews University Archery Club. Shelley had a real passion for working with Junior archers and coached Junior squad and Academy Archers as well as traveling with Junior Teams and Squads to events across the country.

Shelly took on the role of Disability Officer for Scottish Archery over many years and worked extremely hard to ensure that archery in Scotland was a truly inclusive sport.

Shelly will  be sadly missed by the whole community of archers in Scotland and our thoughts are with her family at this very sad and difficult time.
