Attention: Clubs in Edinburgh
ClubSportEdinburgh invites clubs to the ‘Sport Clubs Access to Schools’ event on Wednesday 13th June, 7pm at the Union Park Pavilion in order to unify the voice of sport clubs in response to proposed school facility price increases as of August 2018.
ClubSportEdinburgh continues to support and represent clubs across Edinburgh, offering a voice for all sport clubs in the city. It has come to their attention both through members, as well as a strong basketballscotland led campaign, that hall hire for City of Edinburgh school facilities will increase as of August 2018. ClubSport Edinburgh feel that it is important to clarify a few things to clubs in Edinburgh and if required, support a call to action.
Date: Wednesday 13th June
Venue: Union Park Pavilion, Carrick Knowe Parkway, EH12 7EF
Reason: Discussion and detail gathering from clubs to pass on to the City of Edinburgh Council regarding impact of the proposed price increases for sport clubs.
Please confirm your clubs attendance with ClubSport Edinburgh by Monday 11th June to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to bring details of last year’s usage of high schools including hire rate (by school) and the ‘usual’ days/hours that you used. This will allow us to help you calculate the potential impact. If your club is unable to send a representative, please get in touch with ClubSport Edinburgh to discuss the potential impact that it will have on your club (to same e-mail address).
