A newly built course on Forestry Commission land in Inverawe Forest, 15 miles east of Oban. the Club is run by Brian Kupris from Oban, who has done a great deal of hard work to get the 24 target course up and running. Also planned is the development of a 6 target practice area complete with an Eco toilet, all accessible by wheelchair. The high ground on the edges of the forest provides some magnificent views of Loch Etive.
The course has already been inspected and very highly rated as suitable for international championships. Recently they had a visit from Mr Hugh Insley, Chief Executive of Forestry Enterprise Scotland. He had a tour of the field course and had a few shots on the practice targets at his request. Latest news from the Forestry Commission newsletter.

Neptune field course is located in Aitrew Glen, 37 miles west from Glasgow just north of Faslane submarine base. It is a 24 target course built within a deciduous forest mainly oak, silver birch and Beech trees on the ancient site of Faslane Castle from the 12th century. It is a challenging course rising over 500 feet from top to bottom, but still manageable by all able-bodied archers. The course utilises both natural and man-made features and affords stunning views of the surrounding Lochs and hills from the top. It is planned to add a second unmarked course and a practice area in the near future.
